나무에게 피해를 입히지 않는 새집
'birdhouse', front entrance is made of larch wood
독일의 제품 디자이너 sebastian herkner는 못이나 갈고리를 사용하지 않고 가죽끈을 이용한 새집을 디자인 하였다.
나무의 줄기에 손상을 입히지 않는 가죽끈은 새집의 자리를 옮길 때에도 편리하다.
새집의 본체는 압축알류미늄 소재를 사용해 만들어 진다. 이 디자인은 주문제작으로 radius에서 생산한다.
german product designer sebastian herkner has designed a birdhouse that straps on
easily to trees without the need of nails, hooks or screws. aside from not damaging
the trunks of trees, the straps also allow the birdhouse to be relocated easily.
the body of the birdhouse is manufactured using a traditional aluminum compression
process. this design was commissioned and produced by radius.

난 이 새집이 꽤 마음에 든다. 우리나라에 딱다구리가 얼마나 많은지 모르겠지만
나무에 달아놓으면 딱다구리가 나무의 몸에 구멍을 뚫진 않을 것이다.
(딱다구리의 습성은 모르겠지만 저런 집이 있다면 그냥 살지 않을까?)
이 새집은 radius에서 주문제작이 가능하다. 색상도 정할 수 있는데 홈페이지에 가보면
하얀색의 새집이 메인이미지로 되어 있는데 상당히 아름답다. 새들은 어떨지 모르겠지만
나무에겐 반가운 제품이다.
